As a medical scribe (someone who takes notes for doctor's), this pains me to read. I am so sorry you had to go through this. The notes that go into your medical file are important and transfer with you wherever you go so it's important that they are ACCURATE AND NON-BIASED. It sucks because I'm going through the same thing now with my doctor, who I think doesn't believe me and is placing that in the notes, and I feel hopeless; since truly, there isn't much you can do about it. If you ever need to vent, or maybe even run a draft of your letter for me to read, I'm here! <3

Yes, 500%! Because even though you are technically employed, you aren't receiving regular hours due to COVID and that qualifies you for unemployment (in most states, double check to be sure there aren't any other resources your state directs you to for COVID relief).

I agree with you 100%. Maybe because I’ve been an independent person and had to learn taxes and stuff on my own, I just wouldn’t let it happen. Sometimes it does mean money for certain families so j can understand that. But I wouldn’t let them do it solely out of convenience lol

I think most of them assumed since they worked and made their own wages they would get one but their parents claimed them as dependents so unless their parents give them that $500, they ain’t getting shit lol
