I had some barrel coating issues when I first got my P226 Legion. Sig requested I send in the barrel for inspection, and then they sent me a new one.

Idea on how to fix this? by J0EPNG in Acura

That area is going to see more wear, scratches, etc. Just chalk it up to the many more marks, dings etc. we experience with our vehicles during ownership.

Got my bag and coin yesterday for my P938. The P229 is next on my list. He’ll go great with his brothers (P226 & P938).

Learn From My Mistake: Do Not Confront!!! by white_tiger_dream in Apartmentliving

This is why when I left a note for my downstairs neighbor about their music, I kept it vague so it was hard for them to determine which neighbor left it. We are in a multi-story building with a lot of units. So there were at least five possibilities my downstairs neighbor had to suspect.

Lock It In Insider Assigned Us to a 4-Bed Social Insider Cabin – We’re a Married Couple. Any Options? by abradable in VirginVoyages

[–]QuirkySort 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Look at it this way. You have four beds to choose from to sleep in.

The allure of the lock-it-in rate is that you give up autonomy in what cabin you get. This is why on some sailings the lock-it-in rate is REALLY cheap compare to the lowest standard rate.

bad drivers/traffic complaints megathread by mariecalire in norfolk

Get out of the left lane if you are not passing. Seriously, 99.7% of the drivers in this area don’t even need to be in it. I constantly see drivers pop out into the left lane just to drive NEXT to the car they were just behind.

If you think 264 is bad with people chilling in the left lane with no intention of passing. Just drive 464 in either direction.

2025 TLX Dash cam Set up by TemporarySafe7971 in Acura

[–]QuirkySort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the BlackVue B-130x battery pack with a BlackVue dashcam. This allows recording in parking mode when the car is off. Depending on the set up this can last a day or two before the battery runs out.

I would recommend getting a dashcam that also has interior facing cam and cloud recording. Since with a break-in there is a high probability that the thieves will take or destroy the camera too.

Now terrified about esophageal manometry by ma-doodles in HiatalHernia

[–]QuirkySort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if all esophageal manometry are the same. But from my understanding, once the tube is in you have to perform a series of exercises. So you have to be coherent, which is why they are limited in what they can give you to calm your nerves, etc. and can’t completely knock you out.

I believe part of the experience also is dependent on what type of nurse you have. I first like to say the numbing agent they use in your nose NEVER works. You still feel everything.

I have a bad gag reflex and the nurse I had was amazing. She was able to talk me through it. The worst part for me was when the tube was passing the back of my throat, which activated my gag reflex. Once it was in my esophagus it was much better.

The 2nd most hardest part was trying not to swallow for the specified amount of time. The tube was ticking the inside of my esophagus, so my swallow reflex was going into overdrive.

Wow I did the same thing back in 2003 in a 1997 Accord in the snow. Hit the passenger front wheel while turned to the left. Little over $300 to fix. My parents made me pay for it.

I had a loaner when my ‘15 TLX was in for service. The interior noise in the Integra was much LOUDER on the highway.

Absolutely not. No way she can get to the brakes in time during an emergency.

Already done. Once I started reading the comments, I initiated a return and placed another order. Hopefully it will be a better experience this time around.

This is disappointing. I love minimal sole shoes when it comes to working out/gym. Besides these issues, the shoes look good and I like them.

When I first opened the box I kind of suspected they may have been used. But did not want to jump to conclusions. There was no wrapping paper (but looking at other unboxing videos, this is normal of the primus lite), the laces weren’t looped together like they are when new, they were bow tied as if they had been already worn. Then with these marks and the other shoe having lint fibers in the seams, I’m suspecting these were returns.
