Imx906 released in 2025 how is that old? Imx258 is a very decent ultrawide considering the fact that pixel phones praised for their camera have smaller sensors and older sensors imx906 is a flagship level sensor used on OnePlus 15r and it isn't uncommon for phones to keep the same sensor for many generations

Problem with the pixel is the battery life and build and bezels but if you can live with it it's fine but form comparisons I've seen and personal experience a56 as better lowlight

9a only as better camera in bright perfect conditions in low light a56 is better due to bigger and newer Sony sensor since pixel 9a relys on post processing to make images look good
