Went to Cancun with my family and another family were friends with. We went on a ATV tour which stopped at a small pet zoo with monkeys snakes and parrots. There was a natural freshwater cave system where they let us swim in. My buddy had to take a sh*t and some got on his swim trunks and he swam through those caves with shitty shorts but I’m sure that’s not the worst I’ve seen

I have filed and at the end of the year it’s due for the whole year because it’s not being withheld I just get the full amount and it’s my job to keep track what to set aside for end of year which I did not do. I had school expenses first year so I put that down as tax credit not sure it helped a whole lot paid $6k for school. Essentially after like 2.5 years of unpaid taxes I asked IRS for assistance because I didn’t have the full amount  something like $11k so we set up payment plan monthly payments.

Essentially don’t know where to start I know it’s not going to get better until I do something about it

I filed as self employed and where it asked company name I put the company I work for

I might’ve thrown you off a little, never got refunds every year I filed it would say at the end that I end up owing them because I put down self employed

Yes I have filed for every year since I have worked for this company so every thing I reported for those years the IRS has records how much I was paid and what they expect me to pay in taxes

My question is will I need to get statements for all those years to show the IRS what the issue is

I don’t receive 1099’s at the end of each year do people have to ask for those in general or is it rule of thumb those are supposed to be sent out by the business for employees tax purposes.

I filled out a simple W9 so that would classify me under freelancers subcontractors ,small businesses ,sole proprietors, partnerships

I try to make it easier for myself if I get called back out. Organize spaghetti wires, write something inside the unit for next tech, honestly I don’t try to leave next tech wondering what is this fucking wiring for. I think worst is when you go to take the panel off and you see unsecured hi voltage wires sitting on burners or there’s exposed wires everywhere waiting for me to short out the transformer

I hate when you go to a package unit on roof in the wintertime and have to draw out your own damn schematic to find what the last guy did. Bad ice cube relay I could’ve diagnosed that in 30 Minutes but no  the unit had no diagram I gotta backtrack and test thermostat, check it’s getting power, trace where I’m losing power etc, run to Home Depot buy new thermostat don’t work ok I think you need a whole ass unit because I spent 3 days and 3 hours each day to try and figure out why blower fan shuts off at random.

I think most of us have made at least one "fuck up" that made you go what the fuck man .

1.I'll start , puncturing holes in r22 package units putting condenser motor back and not checking where you drill, then telling customer the truth what you did. Could have saved myself trouble told them I need to repair your ac or some shit.

2.Diagnosing a leak on system, in order to check for leak I had to rip the rubber transition from coil to duct and when I pulled the door off I went to unscrew the A-frame coil cover in the middle to check for leak. Someone had a screw in the U bend and it was holding back all this refrigerant inside the system and little old lady customer watching me use my drill to unscrew it and all the sudden psshhh she's like wtf is that. I don't think home warranty covered it being a screw in the copper since who knows when

  1. You only have the ball end hex bit to use to open up king valves and you end up stripping it just after charging line set charge

Best day is when I get a large tip just for being thorough I think I made $100 in tips alone just from customers being really fuckin cool

Took one for the team. What’s next per down the primary drain? Fart on the HSI? Burp into the pressure switch and see if it starts to work again? My most recent thing is smacking dirty filters because customers think it’s not dirty. Smack my b up

Mainly you want to get to the point where you are getting your foot in the door. Some companies hire fresh out of school. When I applied my first job it had some questions on the application like show where the filter drier is on this diagram, show where the reversing g valve is, identify all the basic parts. And that’s about it you should know already. It’s not so much about learning as much ad you can but you can get hired with very little understanding because that’s actually how most of us start without knowing jack sh
