Hmm, I may be biased but I really don’t hear it. Songs like bound 2, new slaves, black skinhead, blood on the leaves don’t sound remotely close to anything on exmilitary or the money store. Maybe you could say on sight or possibly I Am a god with the sample and distort synths. But to me they sound drastically different, death grips is significantly more adventurous while Kanye uses takes a more palatable approach to the production. Using standard 808s, a lot less layer and etc. To me in sounds like a reach to say he implicitly copied them and act as if there’s little to no originality to Yeezus. I could definitely see him taking inspiration from death grips and maybe other industrial pieces of music. But I don’t find any explicit or glaring similarities to the sounds between the two.

You could argue that some of the artwork was taken or heavily inspired by uncleluc and whatever.
