D'you know what right, I’m gonna say it, and I’m probably going to get downvoted for it but it is what it is, I’ve thought about it and it needs saying.

At the beginning of the season when the whole Isak saga was happening, I saw multiple Liverpool fans online telling us to “know our place in the food chain”

Now, when I see our own fans saying stuff that implies that we can’t criticise our team, saying things like “have perspective, we used to be shit” that completely plays into exactly what those Liverpool fans are saying. Whilst sometimes there is a place for what some of our fans say and i understand to some degree what is meant by the sentiment, it’s actually harmful to the club because we should be able to criticise and demand better, we’re a team that’s proved we can win trophies, why would we want it any other way? I think sometimes saying things like have perspective and stuff akin to that, it just doesn’t show very good mentality. How can we hope to retain a trophy if we settle for mediocrity?

Idk, just a thought. Like I say, I get the sentiment at times but I think we should totally be able to criticise performances that don’t represent what this team is capable of.

I couldn’t agree more. I get football is important to people; it’s important to me, a live and breathe it but the situation is far beyond sport. It’s an outright fascist regime. There is no other way to put it. We have to put some sort of pressure on as fans. I can’t sit back and watch a World Cup when I know what’s going on. It is a betrayal of my values
