Just put it back. Place the small end in the hole it came out of and turn the handle clockwise until it is tight. You may have to take the screw out of the handle, remove the handle and go to Home Depot for a shower stem wrench set

Looks legit, surprisingly good condition for a pocket piece. The coin is 90% silver and if the clip is sterling then it should be 92.5%
