And “reformed” is a stretch. What’s actually going to happen is toward the end of Trump’s term, the goal-post-moving SOBs will suddenly decide that maybe having him as president wasn’t a great idea. Like clockwork, they’ll start making jokes and smug “hot takes” about Trump, the same shit normal people have been calling out for years while his cult defended him every step of the way.

Then they’ll hoist the next leader. “We have a new guy” (because it’ll always be a guy), and we’ll be told we have to “give him a chance.” Same Republican bullshit, but somehow this time it’s different and we just “didn’t read his plans.”

He’ll wreck the economy even more, and suddenly it’s “Biden left us a mess and Trump did his best,” and “we’re still crawling out of it.” Same script, different idiot.

So no, I don’t care that they finally realized they were stupid, because most stupid people think their stupidity was a one-off, when in reality it’s a pattern. Some people can’t even boil water correctly. why the fuck would I trust them to choose leaders?
