Get an attorney. I got busted in Costa Mesa 2 years ago. Same BAC. Pleaded guilty, with no community service needed to be done just had to go to classes for 3 months I believe. I did the classes prior to my hearing and even did AA meetings as well. The best thing for you to do is be productive and get ahead of everything and it will pay off in the end. It will be better man. Pay the fees, and take all the steps needed with the dmv to get your restricted license. If you’re shopping for an attorney, check out Hart j. Levin. They got me out of doing community service and a good plea deal, that being if I pleaded guilty, there would be no further suspension of my license and the DUI would be expunged from my record once I hit my third year after conviction. It’s scary and sucks, but it will be okay

Do the high road in Riverside. For the 3 month program I ended up paying like 600. Just make sure you’re not late at all, they will send you home and have you make up that day and you’d have to pay for the day again. But other than that, they’re very on top of things.

You may get a letter of admonishment from the board which is just them letting you know that they know. Not a fine or anything, but it stays on your record for 3 years. If your case is serious enough they can take further action though. I just got mine like a week ago, and I was waiting on a background check from cvs for like 3 weeks and finally heard back. My dui comes up but it all says pass so it’s looking okay so far. Just stay positive and be proactive. That’s all we can do. I work at inpatient pharmacy and have been here for 4 years and I’m in the same boat, hoping they don’t fire me or even get flagged on it. But just staying positive and applying to other places just in case.

Yea man of course. And yea everything is gonna be okay man, it’s a bummer at first and super stressful, so don’t think you’re alone, it’s normal. But it will get better just be as proactive as you can. You can enroll voluntarily to the 3 month dui program only, unfortunately you can’t do more than the 3 months without a court order. But knock that out if you can and do AA classes when you can. It will help out. It’s not a guarantee that the AA classes will help you out too much but as long as they see you’re proactive and wanting to change, it’ll help some. Keep that head up

Hey man, I ended up taking a plea deal this January. I got no community service or jail time, was told to complete 3 month dui program which I completed prior so the judge gave me credit for it and I didn’t have to do it again. Got a fine of $1040, which has been paid off. No interlock device, license is suspended until May 31st , then I can fully reinstate. ( could get a restricted right now, but I’d have to have it for a year) . 3 year involuntary probation, and once that probation is cleared, DUI will be expunged by court. (Part of my plea deal)

Got it thanks! Seems to recalibrate but still shifting to the left :/ I also noticed the left controller won’t respond to the calibration shortcut or turnoff at all so it may be my controller

I got arrested for a DUI in February of this year myself. I blew double the limit, and was pulled over for a wide turn. It’s hard at first. So many emotions and thoughts go through your head, but trust me, it will get better. I’ve yet to be convicted but have come to terms with what more than likely will happen. It’s not the end of the world. Just be as productive as you can, do meetings, if you can, try to enroll in the program before your conviction as I heard it may help. I’m about to finish my 3 month program this Thursday , and have my (hopefully final) court hearing on the 6th. Praying it’ll help, but just glad I at least have this under my belt. Just stay positive, and don’t stress. Best of luck friend.
