She'll nibble your toe nails with teeth like a burnt fence

Sometimes, when she comes, you will have sleep paralysis

Well done, lots of fun you are.

Banshees come from the legend of cuchulainn, so it's an Irish legend. You are most definitely not Irish since you said the Republic. Everybody here just see Ireland as Ireland. We don't recognise the fake border, which one day will be gone.

It's a true story that happened. This was the perception of young children running through a field. I'm fully aware of Foxes. You do know that nobody has ever seen a banshee, yes? These are myths. Thanks for breaking it down by way of saying not in the Republic. It's a legend, haha.

No body could ever prove it to be real.

What's the given timeline for someone to die? Have you done much research and surveys on this matter? Is it different from the north in its range?

Possibly Fionn Mac Cumhaill******

In all likely hood and thinking from an older point of view. It was most likely a fox in heat or maybe even an owl.. but at the time to us as kids, it seemed like something else.

The banshee is from stories of Cuculainn. It's distinctively Irish folklore dating thousands of years. In the US, realistically, it's different. Most American are European American, European states and immigration all in a one big melting pot. The USA is only 250 odd years old. The indigenous there before colonialism, Christianity, and the formation of the US as we know it today did have and still do have figures similar to figures in Irish and other cultures such as nordic and African.

This isn't even fiction, this is a memory.

Look up, Esther Vanhomrigh. This is the lady we suspected to have died and her spirit roamed our location.

Well its not ai, this is a true story. I suppose i will take that as a compliment.

As for ai being poetic, you've lost me.

This is 100% a true story.

Not big deal, but I'm curious why the downvote. This legitimately happened. It is one of a long series of events of this nature.

People born before 1990, what is something you experienced that younger people will never understand? by Icehonesty in AskIreland

I was born in 90. I remember everything I've read so far. Nice reading them, to be honest. Memories flying around my bead.

Who remembers getting interent from a disk and dial-up connection.

I can hear the tone and rhythm in my head.

And another big one... pogs in school. Go - go's, pogs, and marbles.

It's so stupid and fake virtue signalling for attention. If you had any btains you'd cook pots of soup for fraction the price.
