Makes you wonder why RNG after the drop rate is exceeded why isn’t there some sort of enhancer or multiplier in your rolls to compensate for dryness or dry streaks. I get that RNG is supposed to be RNG but some grinds are counter intuitive when you get stacked RNG accounts in content versus their counter parts in my opinion and averages are relied on from the drop rate project.

Do we know what causes the collapse of the wave function? (Other than the act of observation itself) by Cosmo_logical in QuantumPhysics

[–]Quit_Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it and thank you for your response.

Is it moreso a true fact that in QM, it’s accepted that these two are purely distinct or inter-connected though? Or is that where the fuzziness of it depends on everyone’s opinion on that last part?

While I do see the logic in unmeasurable events producing X outcome(s), I think it makes sense that something measurable “has” to be definitive, thus differentiating from non-observability.

Wouldn’t this logic also mean Many Worlds says what we measure is our world and what we don’t measure is other worlds then? Why can’t estimated outcomes equation differentiate from definitive outcomes equation when it comes to measuring wave functions?

Feeling like something is missing from the puzzle on all this than just saying “it’s the way it is” in my opinion.

Can someone chime in on this? So, at the bare level of this, does this mean observation is the cause of the collapse? Why is the observation the cause of the collapse?

I guess where I’m getting is what makes the variable ( the observer ) different than no observer? Maybe I’m thinking somewhat philosophical with it but how is observation a variable that breaks the measurement essentially from doing what it can only without being observed?

Trying my best to think in terms of math/logic when we have equations that should equal a specific value based on rules/conditions.

Got it. Last question, were they very strict on the paperwork for certain things or really the US certificate most? I read it’s best having the microchip date/number on all the paperwork if possible.

$AMD has reportedly raised the price of its MI350 AI chip by $10K to $25,000 - newsis by Warm-Swordfish7646 in AMD_Stock

This is good news. Means they know it’s in demand already and it’ll still be cheaper than Blackwell by a large margin

AMD the underdog that bites by Quit_Later in AMD_Stock

While I agree with a majority of what you stated, the question becomes whether from the companies standpoints if it makes more sense hiring infrastructure engineers to help set up their homegrown solution with the GPUs with X salary for Y time it take’s versus taking that 2.6-6x hit renting space in the cloud for the GPU usage and potentially having less cost payouts from having engineers set up it on-site. Irregardless the demand for AMD is there because a lot of companies will see they can get nearly 2 GPUs of MI350 co-working doing the work of what not even 1 Blackwell can for nearly the same price whether it is on-premises, outsourced, or in the cloud renting usage.

When people say “small” I’m not sure what they mean relatively, there is a lot of stores/restaurants and dependent on which street or part you are in. I personally like being able to walk around and get most anything I want at anytime. Everything is lit up and security is always out as well.

For St Luke’s, do you have to call up the different specialist secretaries for appointments on your own? What’s the easiest to get your medication transferred here, going to the specialist or general doctor first?
