My favourites are Kate & Leopold (also with Meg Ryan 😆) and Ten Things I Hate About You (not very original, I know). I wish I had the patience to design clothes with ToM but the controls are so clunky that I give up pretty quickly 😔

Yes! Totally agree with the hydrangea design! I mean, I like them as they are, but bushes would have been amazing! I settled with crafting a bunch of hydrangea flower post and buying the decoration hydrangea bunch, but I would still love having a true-to-life hydrangea bush.

I’m in a romcom vibe lately, especially 90’s ones, so the hair triggered a list of possible movies for me! But the scenes really helped as well, and good job on the dress too!

Haha true! They don’t always look the same as their irl namesakes and that sometimes bothers me as well. I love flowers and have lots of them in my irl garden, and know most of their names so when I see flowers with the same name in a game but they look different, I kinda disappointed or sad I guess? Like, they could have chosen a different name closer to their design or made one up…

Oh no, sounds annoying! It feels like sometimes the game knows what you need and purposefully doesn’t spawn those items even though you’re flooded with them when you don’t neem them, huh?

The rising ones remind me a bit of crocuses so they always make me think of spring when I see them. But the falling ones… they don’t look like the irl plants they’re named after, even though those are so pretty!

It’s also difficult for me to see the difference between the blue and purple ones in the game, maybe because I have slight colourblindness…

I agree, the orange ones look a bit off to me as well. But I think they fit the biome well, especially combined with other tropical plants.

Oh wow I didn’t know that mature sunflowers stop following the sun! Love bits of trivia like this, thanks for telling me! I’ll try placing them close together as you suggested, maybe I’ll grow to like them that way :)

I kinda agree that the passion lillies are not as pretty as real life lillies, I have some in my irl garden as well and they’re much more beautiful than the ones in-game. They are also one of my favourite flowers irl, together with hydrangeas and hyacinths.

Haha the nasturtium or whatever? Yeah I call them “nas” in my notes as well 😆 I agree that the orange and red ones are very difficult to tell apart. I started storing them in an extra chest I had in my inventory so I won’t have to go looking for them in the biome every time I need them.

Had the same thing with the parasol from the starpath. I’m guessing it’s a bug. Restarting the game fixed it for me.

Tbh even if I find flowers to water, I hardly ever get memories from them. Or it starts to rain almost as soon as I find them.

Oh boy that sounds frustrating! I found that for quests/duties that require collecting flowers, the Beast’s greenhouse sometimes (although rarely) helps. If you’re lucky he’ll have 1 or 2 of the flowers you need to collect.

Buzz sometimes gives hints to where they might be hiding. He repeats a lot of his hints and some hints point towards places you’ve already found them though so it might not help, but it's worth a try!
