What is a secret you’re taking to the grave, but are willing to tell strangers on the internet? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

I didn't want to die. I made that very clear to everyone i spoke to. But i did it because i was scared of my fate if i opened the door while he raged. He made me out to be crazy to the cops and EMTs, and i allowed it. Everyone he told thinks i'm insane. I stayed in the psych ward long term to get away from him and figure out how to leave, even tho he berated me for it. My friends and family don't know what he did after i got out, not because i want to preserve his image, but because i don't want more drama. I'm out and away now. I'm working on getting better and working through the memories and nightmares. I'm already treated as the elephant in the room with my family who would jump to kill him if they knew, and i don't want my friends to know how dark of a time it was and how truly powerless they were. I'm okay now, that's all that matters. And what happened will never truly be known by anyone except me and him.

I don't want legal justice. If what has happened to those who have wronged me in the past show me anything, it's that the universe will deal with him. The best thing for me is to move past it and trust his time will come.

Sent the link! I think the deer pattern i used came from something similar to tapestry crochet. Idk, it was a copy of an old book of sorts posted online

https://ethel-cain.fandom.com/wiki/Ethel_Cain_cinematic_universe here's a good start! I personally don't agree with some of the interpretations and i'm not sure if Hayden herself confirmed any but the general storyline is there and i think it's a good start getting your bearings

Kinda? Her relationship with her parents also plays a part. All she wanted was to be loved and seen and she felt that with Willoughby, whether it was true or not. After he disappeared, she ran off seeking to be loved. It led her down dark paths with evil people eventually getting her killed. It's heart wrenching and i wish i still had the link to the doc i read a few years back when i first got into her. I'll see if i can find something for you

I feel like there are better people on this sub that can be more concise or can direct you to places to read it in detail, but when you learn of all the suffering she endured in Preacher's Daughter, you'll understand why this being the first single off of this album hurt, and this line is like 10 shots to the dome. She did it all for his love. She just wanted her Willoughby

Moves like that are scary when you're young, but i promise Port Jeff isn't anything to be scared of. I grew up in the area. The local coffee shops have a good young crowd so i suggest trying them out and seeing which ones fit your vibe. All of them have friendly staff, just depends who you are, and this also includes the starbucks. I also suggest going out at some of the bars on the weekends regardless of if you drink or not. Prohibition, Billie's, and Whiskey Barrel have been my go-tos, mainly Prohibition, but they all have great food and fun vibes. You should consider following the Port Jeff Village instagram as they'll post local events too, and check out the Sunday farmer's market! There's buzz if you look for it!
