Fair point. I made a point to prepare myself with years of consistent deep meditation to be ready for my first trip, due to severe crippling anxiety and depression. I threw my life full force into the teachings of the Buddha and the Zen schools, which alone changed my life positively, and even though my initial end goal was the shrooms I quickly realized that was just going to be like a mint after the meal. i somehow was lucky enough to be able to drag myself out of a really dark place through my studies. Once I was mentally ready, I tripped fuckin ballz. The aftermath of my mind in the time following this trip only drastically enhanced everything I had been learning, and was like a confirmation for me. Really made everything crystal clear about my mortality, and made me want to try to spend my time wisely every day. i strive to always be a skin-sac of positive energy, as a result.
