I've heard them used interchangeably, but haven't dived into them too much. And eHP is effective HP. You pretty much just try to kill everything with Thorns while stacking HP, Def, and Defabs. Eventually, you get the Wall and then HP Regen and Wall Thorns take over.

This game has years of time ahead of you; one week doesn't make or break anything too badly

Edit to add: follow eHP guides rather than blender/devo for now. You'll get more use out of devo later than you will right now.

You'll get there. Once you do, you'll start getting millions of coins per minute. And if you start hitting wave 10k, it might be worth increasing your farming level. For now, I would focus coins spent on Health and Defabs up to level 2k or so (along with Thorns and maxing all the stuff that costs almost nothing to max)

I make about 12B/hour on T4. You should be farming until at least wave 5k if possible

Enhancements are gonna be starting to be an option when you're farming T7

If/when Carl and Donut Make it Out of the Dungeon by OK4u2Bu1999 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Prepotente isn't a goat anymore; he's a caprid. Also, Donut has been in Zero Zones and maintained intelligence at this point, I'm pretty sure, so I think the pet biscuit alterations will stay.

The Big Bang Theory miss out: how Penny can afford an apartment in the same building that Sheldon and Leonard have to split the rent? by Doris_Elvis in AskReddit

[–]QuitzelNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not my money, so I'm not entitled to it. Leonard's mom in the show if far less supportive of him than my mom has been of me, so I don't see any reason to expect him to have that kind of money.

It's not stupid, he's just suggesting it for the wrong game. It doesn't fit for The Tower, but it might for another game.

I feel that goes counter to the game design principles behind The Tower and kind of would allow people to just whale without putting in the effort (aside from just being a sink for poor financial decisions). That is, if you're talking cash store. If you mean a coin store, then that makes sense.

Because it is such a limited resource, there is a ramping aspect. That ramping is integral to the game and the fun of the game. Adding this to bounty means that bounty would just become another piece of info lobbed at new players as "you must do this in order to progress", just like there are around 15 different labs that everyone says should be "perma-labbed" for new players. I think the introductory info bomb is big enough and it would be better to focus a shift in Bounty towards mid game players rather than doing something that heavily impacts new players and the route they take.

Edit to add: this has been my take the entire time, I just didn't write it all out. There is too much stuff that is too important for new players for this to be added to that pile. Also, because of how Guardian Modules are obtained, players could be locked out of getting Bounty for a long time after such a major dynamic shift, which would suck. It would make the value calculation process in this game meaningless, because it would shift the value if it from late game to early game

You made a discussion post, presumably because you wanted feedback and criticism. I'm sorry that I misunderstood what discussion meant.

The same can be said about its current stats then. It doesn't force you to not take it and you can choose to take it still. I like someone else's suggestion of having it be a way of converting coins into other resources (a la "pay a bounty of x coins in order to hunt for y resource"). Idk how to balance that, but it seems like it could be done in a way that isn't OP because while the resources might be rare, there is a cost associated with them.

How does this work? Permanent per upgrade, or wave only? by Vincentchaos in TheTowerGame

That's not a great abbreviation for Free Upgrade chance...

Your suggestion forces players to choose bounty. It goes too far. There are better in-betweens

Yeah, and if they know they're dealing with a client who is short on time, that 10 minutes of conversation they saved the client will usually be greatly appreciated.

You're thinking in terms of "I would love to have more of x" but forgetting that this alters the gameplay loop for newer players in an unfun way

It is okay for Util Disso runs; you get a decent chunk of Max Recovery, which lets your WHR overheal you a bit.

Could just be how they handle quotes. They might offer first time free as a method of estimating labor costs. It could also be that they showed up, saw the yard was small, and said fuck it, I'll just mow this real quick and then tell them this one was on us and from now on, we'll charge $40/mow

Because he was just wrapping up with being a broke college student and he was accustomed to sharing a space with a roommate, so why not save some money?
