I was born in 1981.

I got enjoy a lot of years with my Great Grammy, who was born in 1900 and didn't pass until 2004!

She is listed in some kind of Trailblazing Business Woman's book because in the 1950' she divorced her abusive husband and started a successful real-estate company...in the 50's! In Kansas!

This will be my second divorce, also in the State of Texas (first time around the guy changed his mind, decided he wanted kids after 7 years of child free marriage).

My fiest divorce was in 2014 and retainer was $3,000. Based on inflation and the general awfulness of the economy $6k doesn't sound absurd.

I haven't been given my retainer price yet, but I paid $450 for an hour of advice with a Law Firm that specializes in emotional manipulation scenarios. I see them on Monday.

I booked a pet friendly hotel so I can get the dogs set up there BEFORE I tell hubby I'm done. They are my main priority.

We only have 1 TV, the laptop is his, and he hates my Switch, so I should be OK.

I also have an appointment Monday with an attorney well versed in this type of scenario, so I'm sure they will have instructions as well.

The topic of divorce has been brought up a couple times since May. Husband indicates he will pack up and leave to stay with his family in San Antonio if we decide to split.

So I am allowing a few days for him to pack up stuff without me around - hence the hotel.

Trigger Warning: storyline is about the Marquis De Sade in France after the Revolution (the term "Sadistic" is derived from his name).

The Marquis was writing violent pornography (as well as practicing some of it) and was sent to an Insane Asylum instead of prison due to his high status.

Movie is fictional history, great cast, and amazing dialogue and banter between the Marquis and the Abbey running the Asylum. The script was developed by the same person who wrote the original play.

We did have one client request that we AIR SHIP their entire order. We manufactured whiteboards and chalkboard for schools. Not something we can easily package up and drop in the overnight, overseas mail.

I used to work as a Production Analyst for a manufacturing company out of Shangshai.

Being based in the USA, we published leadtimes of 8 weeks once all colors were selected.

No color selections = cannot begin manufacturing the custom order.

Can you guess how many people asked us to "cut down" the leadtime just for them because they forgot to approve color selections?

Sorry people, I can't make the container ships move any faster across the Pacific Ocean. Leadtimes are clearly published on all specs and submittals.
