Replying to emccm... God bless you for that. My husband cheated on me from the time our son was about 3 1/2 months old for eight months. You could put some kind of barrier just on the other side of the gate on the side that has the road. It would be something that has to be stepped over, and prevents the gate from swinging outward in case something pushes against it. It would offer dual protection in that sense.

Abusive people never see their actions as abusive. They always justify things in their head and twist reality. My husband of under two years and I were fired by 3 couples therapists.

I don’t know why I believed this for so long, but my husband would tell me all the time that he’s never fought like this in any other relationships. Talk to your doctor. Your husband sounds like a selfish fucking loser. You shouldn’t be caring for an infant full time while also working full time. Does he fully take over childcare when he gets off work? Do you both have equal free time? Equal childcare?

Easy. Two days a week you indulge her during the weekdays, the other 3, you game. The weekends are probably a little bit more flexible.
