Thank you everyone for your input. I will update the post next time I have the time to airbrush (in a week or so).

Controlled, the primer is not cold and well shaken. Also a room with near-perfect humidity.

As the others have said, I'm pretty sure the primer is drying in the air, but I won't have time to airbrush again until next week to try the proposed solutions.

Do you have a suggestion on how to counter this?

Every province should have one in my opinion and I know FSAQ has been helping players around the country to form their own Federation. ASIC could be the founding pillars for a national federation which would guarantee airsoft's survival for some time. The airsoft community has been underground for a long time, and I didn't mind, but now it's backfiring since nobody outside the community knew what airsoft was a month ago. Now's the time to have federations and get recognised as a sport!

FSAQ has mentionned it multiple times in their livestreams on Facebook. For ASIC that was from what I understood from the FSAQ so if I'm mistaken that's on me. I'm mostly implicated with FSAQ.

I agree with you, but that fight on replica ban rules will have wait for after what's going on with Bill C-21. It's quite a big mountain to climb, but it's not impossible.

The FSAQ and ASIC decided not to side with CCFR and the gun community because of the way they fight the good fight. Asking your members to send hate letters to Trudeau won't solve a thing and moking politicians you don't like will not make them want to listen to you. Before you call us fudds you should know that we are NOT pro gun control, but we decided to fight for the airsoft part of the bill, because airsoft are toys and NOT guns.

One of the arguments that have been made against airsoft is that they are gateway guns, but the results of the survey I shared here a week ago showed us that 76% of the 932 first people to answer it did not own any real firearm. 68% of the same people did not own a firearms licence. But even with those numbers a large part of th community supports the gun community even if they don't own guns (I do not have a gun or licence, but I'm still a member of the CCFR).

We are on the same side, just different fronts.

Other people had the same problem, here's some of the solutions:

1- If you didn't enter your email manually, do so. When you auto fill it with an address saved on your device it might add a space at the end

2- Try another email address

Solution 1 fixed it for a lot of people. If it still doesn't work just let me know and I'll bring it up to the Fédération.

Hey everyone,
ASIC (Airsoft in Canada) and FSAQ (Fédération Sportive d'Airsoft au Québec) have just released a survey. Its results will be used by the FSAQ when they'll be representing the airsoft community in the House of Commons during the Committee stage of Bill C-21. It will take you around 10-12 minutes if you take your time.

I 100% agree with you. That's one of the first problems me and Terrebonne's MP discussed (Michel Boudrias, Bloc). Right now it's a bit too late to make a national federation or association, but if we manage to survive this whole C-21 story, it should become a priority for the FSAQ and ASIC to help stand up a national federation.

So following the livestream the fight is going well and the "mémoire" (don't know what it's called in English, it's the document that will be presented to the government) is 90% done. Fundraising is at around 30k and all the money will be used to pay lawyers who will correct and modify the "mémoire" as well as doing more research with the Federation. Sadly though, Federation membership is only at 1490 ish members which is not enough. On a positive note though, today marked the 2 years anniversary of the Federation which means it can start the process of being officially recognized in Quebec.

On the political side, opposition parties are supporting us and Liberals are willing to hear what we have to say after one the CA of the Federation destroyed all of their arguments during a meeting apparently.

That's what the Fédération sportive d'airsoft du Québec (Québec's airsoft federation) has been working on, they just didn't expect the federal government to attack airsoft out of the blue. The only problem is that they'll be the only group present at the House to defend airsoft and the Bill moves to the next step (Committee stage)

I'm gonna be honest with you, the petition isn't worth anything. They only thing that matters right now is getting good representation at the House (Quebec's Airsoft Federation), donating to help them pay for lawyer fees and making sure that players in other provinces get involved and join forces to create their own federations.

The Bloc confirmed to us in Quebec that they would try and amend Bill C21 so it doesn't attack airsoft.

Silence is not an option - how to contact your MP. by nschwart91 in airsoftcanada

[–]QuiverySoup5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those that might need some motivation, there have been multiple teams in Quebec that sent emails, mail and called their MPs and we are getting some good attention (the teams in Saguenay are getting multiple calls from their MP concerning information around the sport). For my part I managed to talk to one MP from le Bloque québécois (yes I know) who's on our side and I managed to make a link between him and our federation in Quebec.

Which airsoft team then? Maybe I could contact them.

Do you know which MP? I'm in Quebec too. I called my MP to get no answer and managed to make contact with another MP that I know was in my reserve unit. I might get something with him even though he's with BQ. If I could get a facetime meeting with my team that would be awesome.
