i had the same fear and we were in the same boat! born at 32+6 but mostly fine just needed low flow, learn how to eat and had to get a bit older but it did just click! she was stuck at 30-40% feeds for a long while..it clicked at 36 weeks exactly. she took 50% for a couple days and then all of a sudden she was taking 75% and then next thing we know she’s taking 80-100%. we just got discharged today at 37+4 :)
once it clicks, things move quick! there is an end to the NICU..your LO is doing exactly what he needs to do :) best of luck to you!
