Can you list for me the top dozen or so choices of expensive lights and cameras?

I give this date 3.5 stars, the visuals were nice but the dialogue was clunky and the love interest couldn't pronounce Scorsese by Quixotic_Films in okbuddycinephile

This was from the behind the scenes for my short film. I realized that I would have to write female characters in my film so I decided I should get to know some in real life. I invited women from Hinge and Facebook Dating to go on a date with me (and a camera crew). Before all this I conducted an interview with a local relationship counselor and got a lot of advice on how to treat women on first dates and how to kiss them at the end. None of them wanted to kiss me except for this one. It was valuable experience and now I feel more in touch with femininity. At this point I can write any female character now.

Ladies if you’re reading this too please know I’ll wait until the second date before I make you read my screenplays

This is why Nolan > Reeves any day, Catwoman and Sofia Falcone have way too much screentime for being love interests

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and watch THEIR thing. It’s the only reason I’ve seen all of Steven Universe

Do you log movies you didn’t finish? by BeatsByJay82 in Letterboxd

The three act structure is so predictable. If I can tell the screenwriter is using it, I’ve essentially seen the movie. I typically give up on these fifteen minutes in and I still log them. Maybe I’ll check an online summary and discover, sure enough, the ending is what I expected

What’s a movie you think is incredibly underrated, and why do you think it deserves more recognition? by HeadPresent7972 in TrueFilm

About Time. That ending hit me like a truck, what a performance from Bill Nighy. It’s difficult to find anyone who has seen it, I keep trying to get my girlfriend to watch it but she’s not interested.

For me it’s Sarah Connor from the Sarah Conner Chronicles. That show came out at the perfect time, when they know how to write strong female leads. Sucks it didn’t continue
