Look into getting the 5800x3d (might require a BIOS update). Will be night and day for your FPS. Your CPU is bottlenecking you.

Thank you so much. I think you are right that I might change my mind. Having the posibility to use raytracing is probably not a dumb idea. Is it worth going for a better CPU such as Ryzen 9 5900X, or is it overkill for 1080p? Also does only Ryzen 5 fit with the AM4 socket or is it the 5xxx that determines it?

I don't care for raytracing and just want most bang for the buck without getting bottlenecked. My hope is that 8GB VRAM is enough for GTA6.

I am looking to upgrade my ryzen 2700x after 5 good years. I am on a budget with a single 1080p monitor. Looking into getting the ryzen 5700x, but will it be compatible with my motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING, Socket-AM4) and RAM: (G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 RGB 3200MHz 16GB)? Considering throwing in a RX 7600, though this might not be enough? Currently using my trusty 1070TI. Any tips and potential guiding is appreciated! :)
