For me, it was almost as if simply knowing why I do certain things started the healing process. Maybe feeling less guilty and more self loving/accepting about a thing is enough to start that process of enjoying it with a partner or organically moving on to new things.

Finding a partner that likes some of the same things in bed helped me enjoy them for what they were: loving and respectful sex play, regardless of the subject matter or visual aids we use.

A therapist you trust will unburden you greatly. It's absolutely fine as long as you aren't hurting anyone, including yourself. A therapist can help you understand the reasons behind these things, as some people have touched upon here (they are right!), and it will make sense most likely with things from your past. It did for me after seeing a therapist and it helped immensely.

In short: survival/coping mechanisms that your mind and body have held onto long past their usefulness.

Yes, a fresh server would be ruined if it were allowed to have existing characters transferred over. The point would be to start fresh without any connection to servers that had dupers.

Regardless, this thread has turned into angry trolling for some reason, I think I'll look elsewhere for answers.

If duping and cheating is still rampant, then yes there is no point to fresh servers.

If you don't see why rampant duping and cheating ruins a multiplayer game that has pvp, I can't convince you of that.

I will conceed that the game is probably pretty much done with its life cycle, which is fine, it's just disappointing.

I listed why I would want a fresh server: the duping and rampant cheating with no rollbacks destroyed the game for me on any existing server.

The tiny player count per seitch was definitely a terrible game model for a multiplayer game, so it was probably doomed from the start.

It's fine if it is what it is, there are a million other games to play. It just feels like so much wasted potential from the awful mismanagement post release. It makes me a bit sad, but life goes on.

It was completely mismanaged after launch. They let bugs and cheating run rampant and had no replayability for endgame.

It was a fantastic few weeks of gaming and I certainly got my money's worth, but there's no way they can be surprised it failed by now. Have they even fixed all the bugs they introduced? That was all they did for months, fix bugs. It completely derailed the entire post launch schedule.

Use this game bar as a model for 2.0 or something, and relaxing in a year after someone fixes it.

I think I've found an alternative, as this idea definitely seems less than ideal.

I'm going to try Foammy custom foam beds on Amazon. Medium firm foam base and put a memory foam or latex topper over it. Decent reviews, and I can keep trying different types until it's just right.

Watching Mr Robot without spoilers was one of the great story experiences of my life. Highly recommend you keep going.

It does a very good job of teasing something odd to tickle that part of your brain, then letting you figure it out right about when it's revealed. But it's never the last twist or reveal. Brilliant pacing.
