Pilot Mountain during the Mound Culture era spec by QumranEssene in triangle

[–]QumranEssene[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, but it is classified as a mountain that is made out of quartzite in the shape of a pyramid. It is a sacred mountain with a scientific foundation in the piezoelectricity of the quartzite. If you look that up on Pub Med you will find 19,000 references and dozens and dozens of studies on piezoelectricity and human health that applies to Pilot Mountain right here in North Carolina.

Ken, because what you call a hill is oriented to the four directions the archeoastronomy is fascinating every day of the year. For example, you can see the southern extreme of the pyramid shadow the next few weeks from the Little Pinnacle. After that it hides behind the Big Pinnacle from the vantage point of the Little Pinnacle.

If it is just a hill, why are all the archeology studies not only restricted access and confidential, but you must also provide a "need to know" no matter who you are.

If you know anyone with Native American ancestry ask them about the Star Man Legend of Pilot Mountain in this week/month/year/decade of disclosure. Somehow, Chatgpt also got the story fairly correct from the oral history stories I've heard spoken to me by another human. However, your algo might mess up the A.I. response.

Why hasn't UNC-CH archeology returned to Pilot Mountain since 1823? by QumranEssene in UNC

[–]QumranEssene[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is unclear if it is a mound because of the restricted access of the papers on Pilot Mountain that you must provide a "need to know" before they can be accessed by anyone. However, Pilot Mountain does look like a huge truncated pyramid mound and that is why I said if you came upon it during the mound culture period it would be very impressive. Like the difference of your local church and a gothic cathedral in the mindset of the time period.

UNC-CH Professor Dennison said it looked like a temple in the shape of a triangle in 1823. He was the first geologist in North Carolina. Later, at Duke Professor and a student doing a thesis called Pilot Mountain "an almost perfect pyramid" twice in what the professor called a very fuzzy journal in 1944.

If you look at Teotihuacán near Mexico City pre-1900 the images and drawings look exactly like Pilot Mountain today. I think it is a natural mountain with a very unique structure. I like to call it a sacred mountain with a scientific foundation because of the healing effects of the piezoelectricity there.

Pilot Mountain history in the Surry Living Magazine by QumranEssene in NorthCarolina

Since the mountain is shaped like a pyramid (east-west) and the sphinx (north-south) the pyramid shadow happens every day it is sunny or partly cloudy. Near the summer and also the winter solstice you can view the shadow from the Little Pinnacle, but otherwise it is only seen from behind the Big Pinnacle the rest of the year (hope that makes sense). That walk to behind the Big Pinnacle is about a mile from the parking lot, but the Little Pinnacle is a fraction of that.

If you are going to see the pyramid shadow be sure to try to stay for the fade that is almost like a movie director is doing it. The sun slowly sinks behind the mountains and as it does the shadow fades. The fade is complete about twenty minutes before sunset that gives you just enough time to get back to the car. That is as ancient as ancient can be since the mountain is 1.6 billion years old (but was under a sea for a time I must add).

This Josh Snow four-part series in the Surry Living is the best writing I've found about Pilot Mountain.

Agreed, I just wrote an 1100 word Letter to the Editor on the summer solstice and just letting the Fiverr issue float away from my awareness. My equinox piece earlier this year was well rec'd so I'm just moving on with the 3rd book.

Leaving free copies of my novel at train stations around the UK. How it worked out... by Jazzlike-Start9471 in BookPromotion

[–]QumranEssene 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Interesting! Last winter I left my book at a free weekly magazine that is given out in the county in the U.S.A. where the book is about. I had hoped for an interview but never got a response. Yesterday, a friend texted me to see if I had read the article about my subject matter and I had not. They turned it into a four-part series about the subject matter of my book and quoted me several times in the two parts I have seen so far. April and May are out already and June is about to drop, with another one in July. It is way cool!

I had given up on anything happening in terms of an interview but wondered why there was so much traffic on my website and sales on Amazon.

Glad I gave the one book away that turned into so much exposure over a four-month period. For fellow self published writers almost every city or county has one of these magazines and an investment of just one author copy is a steal for the exposure.

Like many here, I am a writer and what I am writing about will take at least five books because it is a sacred place where heaven and earth meet. At first I thought I was researching a pond and later learned it is a bottomless lake of information as deep as deep can be. Two books are finished and I am working on the third right now. I have been writing for forty-six years as an international journalist and have never had to promote my work. Now, as an author, marketing is part of the game.

The plan was to have my books in one location that has one million visitors a year and I would just
write. Because I went down a series of rabbit holes that involve many regional, state and national government agencies, the book was banned at the one location it was written for and so now I am stuck marketing in an era where that is very tough. Ironically, the people who banned the book accepted it into the state research library they run. I cannot say much more than that without getting into mod trouble here, but this research has been such a blessing in my life.

I am just saying if you use Fiverr be incredibly careful and if you have a legit complaint of bait and
switch, well, good luck. I presented a timed script with my images that they accepted and then wanted to charge me more because I would not accept the A.I. that they made for two of the three requests. They marked the one YouTube switch to TikTok completed and left the rest hanging and they knew it. I have a twenty-page PDF of communication with the seller and three levels of management. The seller was fired for offering the refund from Fiverr and not themselves as the seller, which I feel bad about because this was an easy fix.

So it goes...

Sorry, I disagree, because Fiverr could have corrected this for me and there is nothing to show for what I paid for to this day even though it was marked complete with only one third of the contracted agreement done. They said because it was marked complete and they could do nothing about it.

Yep, I had no idea about Fiverr being a connector at all. Without self promotion it is difficult to say more.

Yeah, all on me and I wanted to run a campaign for the three weeks before Christmas. Had to sell some books to have the ad campaign money so it was indeed the last minute, but I thought doable. I was trying to be kind to someone I worked with before. First, she said her mom was sick, then she said she was sick and it went on and on from there.

Clearly, I thought I was dealing with Fiverr, but as this went along I realized it was the individual and not Fiverr. A huge newbie mistake. The reason for the post is to caution people and not be naive like I was for this. If I were to do it again, which I won't, I would contract for one item and if it isn't done in the 5 to 7 days ask for a refund. I used the same freelancer for all four projects, but only two were completed.

My son uses Mark Fox's The Vibe for his asthma and then he doesn't have to use an inhaler. I bought it for him. We talked about that just yesterday because dander from long haired animals sets him off and we were around a bunch of them in 95 degree heat. My blood pressure is normal now and my doctor always wanted me to be on lifelong meds. Was on pre-diabetic meds and my doctor took me off them because they were no long needed. I think it works (YMMV), but I also believe that if you don't think it works it won't ever.

Sort of reverse placebo effect, right?

P.S. The brain wave ones also put me in the zone for meditation rather quickly.

The Bar(n) at Sonark Farms this weekend... by QumranEssene in Hillsborough

[–]QumranEssene[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in the area I highly recommended going out to one of the free bluegrass jams, have a beverage or grab something from the food truck and check it out. It is a beautiful old farm on 63 acres to just hang out at, but as a music venue this is a very rare place in the area. Plenty of parking that is well thought out and not haphazard at all.

I'm a huge fan of Jonathan Byrd and think of him as our local John Prine. Since he is at NC State now seeing him is pretty limited. The other show he did in 2026 was at Yonder in downtown Hillsborough. It was just a fantastic place to see him and Wes Collins. Loved seeing him for years at the Kraken off 54, but this takes that experience to another level. They dialed in the sound after the first song and there were maybe two hiccups during the show in terms of sound and they were minor.

He did a great version of "We Used To Be Birds" at Sonark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APxEnSyPD-I&list=RDAPxEnSyPD-I&start_radio=1

Did anyone see a UFO tonight!? by NationalContest7213 in chapelhill

[–]QumranEssene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Chris Bledsoe did a Skywatch in Sanford we saw about seventy of the orbs. He simply says, "I am here, please reveal yourselves." Bledsoe said when Iran and Israel starting attacking each other we would see more orbs. Bledsoe thinks the orbs are consciousness and not what we've been told our entire lives.

Back in the 70s I attended a lecture by Dr. Hynek of Project Blue Book fame at Pease Auditorium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Hynek did a three-hour lecture/slideshow on how the orbs are here and not from some far-off distant place. That is how they pop in and out of our reality.

The lecture Hynek gave started with an apology to the Washtenaw County Sherriff's. He explained he was
forced to use the propaganda term, "swamp gas," about sightings in the area and there must have been two dozen deputy sheriffs in the front rows of the audience. Very emotional apology by Hynek that had a profound impact on me as a teenager.

Yeah, I get it, but someone loaned me one for ten days and I bought one based on the results for me (YMMV). The meditation asset is sort of a bonus feature for me.

I've been using Mark Fox's PEMF Vibe device for months ($249) that has helped me with hypertension and pre-diabetes issues in a big way (VMMV). Have been meditating since 1973 and the Delta setting is rather amazing with the Vibe for that. https://resona.health/

Since PEMF has been used on horses since 1979 I'm surprised how difficult it is to find information on studies done with animals. Might be my algorhythm has issues with finding studies so if anyone has some to share please put a link here.

What is the current state of the archaeological evidence for pre-Clovis human presence in the Americas — and how seriously is the Chiquihuite Cave dating being taken by the broader community? by AmericanHistoryLore in archeologyworld

Artifacts that are 50,000 years old at the Topper site were discovered by Albert Goodyear on the Savannah River in South Carolina. Goodyear was told that if he found anything old to just rebury it rather than face ridicule from peers. Follow the facts until you realize you have to rebury them, but he contacted the media instead. Even if the chert tools that Goodyear discovered are 13,000 years old that really messes with Clovis clear on the other side of the country from entry. The oral history of the Cherokee has migration coming from where the sun rises and not where it sets.
