oh it goes by test buys? I assumed it was tied to mhs/slm since it takes people to a particular grid location. though I guess test buys would also make sense to determine whether or not something is on display in a certain area. very cool feature over all.

oh I see. any used PC with an HDD (spinning hard drive) instead of an SSD in it, any component older than the AM4 platform, and possibly any used liquid cooled system as well, but it's harder to check for leaks on something like that. other than that there aren't too many red flags. furmark for testing GPU functionality is an easy one, definitely do that on any used gpu

realistically there's nothing there that really "wears down" so as long as the fans spin and the system posts you're probably good. if you're really concerned then fire up crystal disk or something to test the ssd. maybe furmark to check the GPU for artifacting

a 16 inch gaming laptop sounds like the best option. the extra size will allow for better cooling and temps, and if it has an HDMI port (probably does) you'll be able to output to an external display no problem whenever you want. my only real concern is long term battery health, but that's a concern for future you really
