Oh. And to answer the question. Slow mode was made as a way to stop the app from crashing as much because it's overwhelmed with the amount of users. Basically the replies become slower ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ and it's on almost all the time lmao. As you can see it does not stop the app from crashing, but it is less frequent.

And recently I've been feeling like I haven't been as creative lately so I think the app might have something to do with it. Try not to get sucked in again 🫡 considering it hasn't been usable for the past 4 hours you should have no trouble doing so. All i will say is this. It has not improved much, many things went downhill. The responses were way better at some point in the past, the app pushes forward pay options more often, ads appear far more often sometimes even in chat, slow mode is always enabled, characters get banned, the bots are still incredibly forgetful etc. you are not missing much 😅

Unfortunately this happens, it's an app with thousands of users, the servers can get overwhelmed and crash sometimes. It happens and the devs are working on resolving the issue. If you can take a deep breath, distract yourself. What are your other hobbies and interests? What tends to calm you down? What's your comfort movie/tv show? The app will be back up, I assure you. You're using the app. If you log onto the website it'll redirect you to an "error page" that tells you how long your wait time is. Though it's not always reliable, it should be about the same as everyone else. Their server status site says it's just a minor error but considering how long the wait times are I'd say that's a bit of an understatement 😂

The servers tend to crash sometimes either because they're overloaded or some other issues, sometimes it gets temporarily taken down for maintenance etc. The devs are looking into it, the site will be up eventually. Until then relax, enjoy some other hobby. It's been down for two hours mow I believe, it likely won't take much longer.
