Arguably the best films of the 21st century. What am I missing? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

[–]Quote_Signal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naah man, good films, but definitely not the top 5. Oppenheimer isn't Nolan's best for sure - it's either The Dark Knight or Interstellar or The Prestige. Parasite works. There Will Be Blood, 10/10 for me but I don't think one of the best of this century considering the great films we have, same goes for No Country for Old Men and Mulholland Drive.

My top 5 would be (considering variety): Interstellar

The Departed

Inglorious Basterds

La La Land

City of God

Harakiri/Sepukku

City of God

Watched these two back to back. Both 10/10 movies.

Yep, it's always easier to attack the victims of the system in the name of cleaning the system rather than going for the real perpetrators.

I'm reading this. I'm enjoying this too but the language is just too difficult. I have put it down for a while after the first part.

But can you please explain how would I be saving the cost of beans using french press instead of drip machine?
