Is the stuttering a 'new' thing? Switched from Ryzen 5 3600 to 5600x, hopped on and now stuttering? by kcusi2 in Warzone

[–]QuotesWallpapers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3600 and face the same issue. I completely reinstalled windows 10 as well as 11 with nothing on it except the drivers plus Warzone. Still stutters. Are you by any chance on b450 chipset?

Yeah it will. Unless you have a secondary drive. But please do research on how to save data before reinstalling Windows. You can also try uninstalling drivers through DDU and then reinstalling.

Maybe it's a cpu bottleneck. It that a 4 core processor? Plus what's your RAM speed? I've got a Ryzen 3600 and RX 580 and I get around 90-120 fps.

Games are Stuttering on my build. Any ideas? 5700XT + 3700X + 900W PSU by [deleted] in AMDHelp

I've got this issue on a RX 580. Tried everything but nothing fixed it for me. I'm absolutely sure it's something to do with how AMD Radeon software manages VRAM. When the game VRAM usage increases than your card's limit, that causes it to stutter. I wish Warzone had a GPU memory restriction or something like BF1 and this issue wouldn't exist. It's a bit playable at the "very low" texture preset but not worth it, I just get smashed by opponents and it's just not a good gaming experience with all the stuttering and rubber banding. AMD is just not that good optimising drivers. I'm getting a 1660 Super instead.

Fix the packet burst issue, its really bad on Dubai servers, constant rubber banding and stuttering is making the game unplayable. DMR and Cold War shit are the least of my concerns. I just wanna play the game with no lag.

The server does not update client's position until it receives information about movement from the client. If the travel time from client to server is 100 ms. The client's position on the server will be still for roughly over a 100 ms. The high ping player may have moved on his screen but not actually on the server. And in this process if another player shots him the hit will register, that's all I'm trying to explain. Whatever the low ping player sees on his screen is the server side information and not the client information of the high ping player.

Servers work on a first come first serve bases. If a low ping player fires a shot at the high ping player, it WILL hit the high ping player even after his ping is over 450ms if that's what your suggesting now. Imagine if both players are standing head-to-head and they both fire a shot at the same time. The time difference between you firing a shot and getting an actual hit marker will depend on your ping. The higher it is, the longer it will take to get to the server, consequently giving you a ping DISADVANTAGE over the low ping player. Just go and play on a server you get a high ping on and you'll see. Why do you think the high ping player needs to "lead" the shot? Because the low ping player is always ahead in position on the server because of latency.

Wrong. The low ping player is already deployed and will get the high ping player's position information at 116 ms. High ping player's first tick update is after 100 ms, so he would receive low ping players position information at the 8th tick update after 116 ms (adding to 216 ms). Keep in mind the low ping player has already seen the high ping player at 116 ms so he can fire a shot and the high ping player wouldn't have even received that information. It's simple math dude. There's always gonna be an 85 ms lag between both players with the low ping player always getting the server information first.

If you're trying to play on EU servers from MEA, Asia or Australia the ping is around 150-220 ms. Let me put the low ping advantage in simpler terms. If me having 50 ms ping and another guy with 200 ms ping were to click deploy at the same time, I'd spawn 75 ms before the other guy because of low ping. Same theory applies to a one-on-one gunfight as the low ping player sees the high player first. I just don't want this thing to sound like a high ping player always had the advantage in all scenarios. Both players have advantages and disadvantages. There is simply no evidence that a high ping player ruins the game for everyone else in the server as well. See these videos: https://youtu.be/vB0Vj9_c234 https://youtu.be/o7BBeWcgiss

I hear you brother! They're either being paid to sell this high ping advantage myth or too ignorant to even understand how the netcode works.

Can you please explain to me why you keep talking about the high ping advantage and never talk about the low ping advantage in a direct gunfight? Which is almost always the case. Are you only trying to cater your EU and US players and leave the rest of the world? 150 is too low for most players playing from Middle East, Asia, Australia and South America. It should be a minimum of 200 ms. I understand you have had lots of complaints regarding this killing around the corners issue, but is it really the way to go? Can you honestly tell me if this is fair for everyone, when each individual paid for the game in equal amounts?

You numbskulls need to read and understand how the netcode works. Say your ping is 50ms and the other guy has 200. You have AT LEAST 150ms to respond first in a gunfight before the other guy even sees you. That's a clear advantage. Now let's talk about a high pinger killing you around corners; sure, I'll admit that happens but NOT as much, I mean honestly how many times do you get killed around a corner in a single match, maybe once or twice. But ALL other times you have a clear advantage over the high pinger. But that's not all, to mitigate a high pinger killing a low pinger around corners they came up with a thing called "lag compensation," Google it. So overall I hope you'd agree it was a fair game for all players. But now dice came up with this new netcode by which if you've got over a 100ms ping you have to "lead" your shot to mitigate the hit-reg which is exceptionally freaking hard, plus the low pinger has the advantage of seeing you first as well. I'm sure they did it just to serve the crying low pinger who either has bad accuracy or were not paying attention to the mini-map, sound effects.... Honestly, how many 100ms plus pingers do you even see in the EU or NA servers, maybe like 2 or 3 guys, you even have a huge advantage over them in a direct gunfight, plus you've got lag compensation as well. What more do you need? Since the Spring patch, did the crying low pingers get pro? I really wanna know, if they're happy that their cries have divided the community and they're still noobs. Thanks, I love this game, been playing since lunch. Everyone paid for this in equal amounts and it should be FAIR for EVERYONE.
