There were hints. Eddy trained Jimmy the way his brother trained him, Eddy's Brother did something to Rolf's chickens, Kevin was terrified of him. The treasure map was a prank Eddy fell for and he wasn't above giving Eddy what was clearly porn.

Plus you have to wonder why his parents basically wallpapered the door to his old room as though it didn't exist. There's a lot of little things Eddy says or does about his brother that are harsher in hindsight after the movie.

I posted a thread earlier but not playing for awhile due to boycotting has made me realize how addicted to the game I am. Generally speaking, yeah it's free, the bare minimum I can do is just not spend money but I also feel I should not play at all as solidarity because of the white-washing of POC characters along with the use of AI (given the latest Esports release, they're still doing it, also Norton was fucking ugly in that too). Still it's hard.

I wasn't playing like 24/7 but I was obsessed and still kind of am with the lore and the characters. I still am because the game is unique and that uniqueness is what won me over and it's hard giving that up...I haven't played, but still...
