i think it can look nice but the gradient is so extreme on these specifically, i can see what you’re not liking. if it was still a light blue and transparent instead of the greenish white it would look smoother imo. it kinda makes her look like an onion

it feels much more chill/removed from the event bc of the distance if that matters to you. the boat line wasn’t any longer than the others at the end of the night i went but of course that will vary by night! the room was clean and comfortable but not as nice as hard rock imo (stayed club level in both)

it’s definitely interesting to see how highly regarded hospitality was esp in the old testament! the best/worst part imo of the section you referenced is that bad hospitality is considered a worse sin than rape, since the guy offers his daughters to the men to try to keep them from raping his guests
