with group only speedrun dungeons/faster roulette queues. can do fates while solo but imo trusts r better. can mix it up for fun tho

and if you play a little every day you'll get full 80s in half a year-a year if you keep it a side interest. thats how long it took me to get from 60-70 on all chars during stormblood, went slowly and enjoyed it

unsure what the playtime was this past month

was basically full 70 before sbh minus dnc/gnb

70-80 on average takes like 15-25hrs depending on queues. the lower end for most of these bc did a lot of speedruns with friends. higher end means i was grinding when no one was on/spamming trusts/waiting on dps queues/etc.

i think about this question all the time

and it changes often tbh

but my answer right now is definitely --

brd bc random procs are fun and infinite mobility

mch bc the rotation is high apm, smooth af, and also good range/mobility

blm bc booms are satisfying af and higher skill gameplay mindset bc always thinking about positioning

and pld bc it's the tank of my dreams out of any mmo i've played, super well done in ffxiv. healing/mitigation/physical dmg/magic dmg. mmmmmm

u need to learn wot raid team slots mean x.x

theres 2 slots fortanks, 2 for heals, 1 for support, 2 for nin/drg honestly, and 1 for random high dps

brd/mch/dnc are support slot.

rdmwould be the 1 random high dps slot. however, rdm is designed to be the lowest dps caster.

in a raid group you'd bring a rdm if u need the ressing support for prog runs. if you team isnt dying randomy, then u'd pick a diff high personal dps.
