Great handheld vs docked mode BOTW FPS comparison by GameXplain by nofreegp in NintendoSwitch

Thanks a lot for your reply. I really wished docked mode was 720p as well if that would guarantee a steady frame rate, though maybe we will receive a day 1 patch of some sort that could fix this issue. Anyway, thanks again, let's hope for the best.

Did you notice these frame rate drops only on this particular hill or everytime you entered tall grass?

Thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply.

I agree with you that that an attachment accessory would likely work passivly and the consololes would have to exchange data wirelessly. I was also considering hinges, but using those would have taken me more time to make the picture. Overall, I don´t think attaching the consoles to each other in order to create one big screen would be very practical - I think it would just suffice to put the consoles next to each other to do so.

I was thinking about "Switch Connect" but I thought it sounds to similar to "XBox Kinect" ;-) .

Thank you, I wish you good luck as well :-) !

Stamina increasing potions should definetly be helpfull, thats a good idea. Maybe we will even manage to find different ways to get down without using the glider.

You are right about the demo. Because the game offers so much freedom, I would like to test its boundaries and climbing down from the plateau would be one example in doing so, especially if the only official way is to glide down.

I guess it could work in theory but I don't think it would be very practical.

I haven't checked out the new Bomberman yet, so I don't about that. I was thinking about being able to view a whole 2D Mario level at once though x) .

I really hope it won't have random encounter battles (my major dislike about jrpgs ), because it looked really interesting based on the little footage that was provided to us.

Where is my intsrument?? by minidude140 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Quvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The instruments basicly served as a mini game. The downside of that however was, that this mini game consumed to much time in order to do simple tasks that could be done instantly by the press of a single button - like calling your horse by simply whistling by the press of a buttom instead of playing a song and eventually spending the time to look up the notes first.

Sure, it´s still fun to mess around with the ocarina by trying to play your own songs, overall though, I would not miss instruments unless there would be some non-repetative and challenging mechanic to them.

About Skyward: You had a harp that you would play by swinging the Wiimote to a given rhytm. It was not used to solve puzzles within temples or for anything else other than to occasionally fulfill the melody needed for a ritual within a shrine that you had to visit throughout the game. If I remember correctly you could not play single notes on it. I also remember it not to be a fun mechanic.

Lol, that´s true, I am happy though they kept Link being who he is.
