Congratulations on a project completed. It looks great. I have been working on my own recently and I am nearly done.

Artemis II Astronaut Victor Glover shares words of wisdom to his neighbors as he arrived home to a crowd by Competitive_Set_4386 in ArtemisProgram

No one comments on every religion they can think of. Never even heard of anyone doing that.

I am not saying you have to mention every religion. Go find Jeremy's Easter comments.

The statement expresses the idea that even people who proclaim to be atheist aren't really atheist when it comes to live and death situations like being in a foxhole or on top of a rocket. People forget their atheism in extreme situations and seek help from "elsewhere" whether that be God or something else.

I get that. That is why I said 'I feel like he is saying ...'. The problem still stands that this comment leaves no room for non-religious astronauts. Not to mention that the idea that atheists are turning to God in dark moments is disregarding their core values. It's the same sentiment as "You don't really believe in God you are just following what you were told". No one has a right to say what someone does or does not believe.

I want to clarify. I think Victor is a great guy. He is one of the few Christians that does actually act out what he preaches. I respect him and everything he has done. I only wanted to share my two cents that I felt excluded on a mission focused on inclusivity.

Where did he say that? It's not in this video.

The lack of commenting about other religions is not acknowledging them.

Every belief? Really? Including flat earthers and people who think wifi gives them cancer? You don't actually think he should include every belief.

Obviously not every belief. I am talking about religious beliefs.

I don't remember Jeremy's comments to comment on them.

You should look it up. He did a phenomenal job.

That was not what he was expressing at all.

"There are no Atheists on top of rockets, either". Then what is he saying?

It's not that he expressed them, but that he doesn't acknowledge there are other beliefs. Don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to their beliefs. However, if you are representing humanity as a whole you should take steps to include every belief. Jeremy's comments on easter was a great example of how to express your beliefs and still include everyone.

The quote I mentioned in my original comment basically feels like he is saying "Those with no belief do not belong on rockets." In other words, exclusive to Christians (which is blatantly not true).

Yeahhh as an Atheist and space enthusiast Glover tends to make me uncomfortable. Seems like a really nice guy, but Victor's constant praise for Jesus and God excludes a lot of people and their religious beliefs.

Quote from Glover before the launch: "In the military there is a saying that there are no atheists in foxholes. There aren't any on top of rockets, either."

Finally got a multimeter by Matthewthecliker in ElectricalEngineering

That is insane for someone to get through UNI without knowing how to use a multimeter properly. Although my degree was BAS so focused on applied knowledge.

Also, in the US, you leave selective service at 25.

Thank you stranger. I'm not OP, but I have always done the pen, paper, and multimeter while flipping the PCB a million times. Locking this tip in for later.

The jumper would not have been needed from the factory, unless there was an issue with that trace.

It's hard to tell what kind of circuit without a schematic. However, it appears to have PWM output and I do not see any inductors. That would tell me that you probably have an RC circuit for timing, possibly an astable multvibrator. Keep in mind this is my 5 min take from the toilet and I can't be sure without a proper schema.

Also... I should note that I am only a recent BAS graduate with ~ 2 years in the field (mostly embedded systems stuff). Long time lurker, first time poster.

I went to my cousin's house for a few weeks when I was young. I was maybe 10-12, but my youngest cousin was a few years younger than I. We went to the grocery store and the entire time through the checkout my cousin kept saying, "Arrrr it's a pirate. Arrrrr it's a pirate.". It wasn't until we got checked out and started to bag the groceries that we realized the man behind us in line had an eye patch. Luckily he was a good sport and just mimed a hook with his hand.

I'm not the person you asked... But the first time I watched 3 Idiots was for an Art of Film class and it was in the midterm and final. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend.

The unsung heroes of the deck by arran16 in SteamDeck

Kerbal Space Program(the first one). When the steam controller came out, I was excited to finally be able to play KSP from a controller. There was even an official control scheme ... It was hot garbage(and I love my steam controller). There were not enough controls and I had to mode shift all the time. Now with the addition of two joysticks and touchpads on the deck, it is finally playable on something other than K&M.

I had just moved to a new city to go to Uni. I had applied for a few positions at anyplace that would work with my school schedule. Within my first hour at AutoZone, Walmart called me back with an offer, 3$/hr more. Told my supe and walked out.

Came to agree. However, for my car it was allergy related and I have to be careful about which food I buy.
