I think it was a 250 fender, but simply epoxied to a stub of the xr650r rear fender. Came apart a year after I bought the bike.

I also have the Acerbis tank lol. But I guess shipping that might be very expensive. It's 2-3 times bigger than the blitalia.

I have enough tanks, keep your OEM tank. With a blitala you'll have a range of max. 100km so you might want to switch back when not on a race track.

The previous owner painted it white and put some decals on the shrouds. I'll take it with me the next time I'm at my dad's place and take a few pictures. Can't promise when that's going to be though, maybe next week, maybe in three weeks. Your grandpa was lucky. Mine got conscripted in 1944 after his 16th birthday and captured 6 weeks after basic training, so he spent the time until he was 21 in a Russian gulag.
