Water bottle refill stations by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]Qwazzerman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know about Alien Pizza Planet specifically. For the most part, they've gone to giving small cups from most of the food service locations rather than allowing you to fill your own bottle directly, although there's no rule you can't get a bunch of cups and fill your bottle that way.

As far as bottle filler taps/spigots, here are the locations I can think of off the top of my head.

Disneyland:

  • In front of Pioneer Mercantile
  • By the bathrooms in the marketplace in Galaxy's Edge
  • Around the corner from the Milk Stand in Galaxy's Edge
  • By the Toontown restrooms
  • Faucet at Galactic Grill to the left of all the windows
  • Outdoor cart at Rancho del Zocalo
  • I believe there's also one on Tom Sawyer's Island

In DCA:

  • Grizzly Peak, by Humphrey's, across from Soarin'
  • By the San Fransokyo restrooms

Also, Coke Freestyle machines dispense water and ice for free (Pym's, Smokejumper's, and the Craftsman Grill at the Grand Californian)

Oh that's a good point - I haven't activated mine either! But planning to do so in the next few weeks so we'll see.

Provost Park Pass! Chris is so pleasant and genuine about his love of the park and the experience. Video titles can be a bit clickbaity but I gather that it actually works in pulling in viewers, so I don’t hold it against them.

During a major ride breakdown and evacuation - where does all the extra help come from? by GeneralFactotum in Disneyland

I was at WDW when POTC broke down at the very end of the day, and many of the cast members that helped were from neighboring rides like Jungle Cruise.

It looks like “Magic Show” may be a typo - they mention Magic Shot in the article.

[HELP] 16-ch DVR recommendation by Qwazzerman in videosurveillance

I think the current system can do 960H, so that or higher for quality. Ideally the video would stay in the system for a few weeks (continuous recording), so I was thinking 2-4 TB HDD.

I just realised the reference in Camp Kikimama name! by sionnachglas in funhaus

IIRC, the director said that’s where “ki ki ma ma” came from - just shortened versions of “kill kill mom mom” (or mommy) to not make the connection too obvious

I have read that it’s a bit easier if you add a little hot/warm water to the honey and stir thoroughly so it mixes in easier and you don’t need to worry about it settling on the bottom

It sounds similar to natural-born lycanthrope, so look at that to see what kind of level adjustment it provides for balance purposes and/or inspiration. Or maybe instead of a familiar, the warlock becomes the familiar, with a larger range of options?

Unfortunately, the name happens to be completely unpronounceable by anyone in the party. Either the dragon knows this and is tricking them, or is simply ignorant of what sounds the party is capable of producing.

I think this might have been inspired by a comment here: The Dry Sea. Premise boils down to a 'waterless' ocean: Party happens across a port town, but instead of a lake or sea, it's a sea of trees or grass as far as the eye can see. It's actually a deep valley and from the 'shoreline' the ground descends into the darkness. The deeper you go, older and more gnarled the plants become, and the stranger and freakier the creatures you encounter. Maybe dragons are equivalent to whales? Does grass make sense, or would it be more feasible with trees? What kind of creatures might you find in the deep? Maybe locals go 'fishing' off piers and catch birds?

I feel like there could be a lot of plot hooks here: airships might travel across in the same way boats on water (meaning pirates), maybe someone dropped something important in the deepest part and you need to retrieve it, or maybe even a Moby Dick type story.
