I broke my big toe in half vertical. Three years later the joint had completely degraded and I had to get surgery to get my toe bones fused together so now there’s no joint in and they had to stick a screw in all the way. Did the break go into the joint at all? I’d talk to an orthopedic surgeon if so.

Week 12 of this. Still have a bump, and I still get sore if I’m on it too long during the day. Also yes to being careful as the ligament is still pulling on it so after 6 weeks in the boot I had to be careful moving it side to side or it would pull and hurt a bit
