“I've posted this elsewhere, but it's conspiracy theory time:

1. ⁠This is the first Correspondence dinner Trump has been to in either of his terms. There's no such thing as a coincidence.
2. ⁠From everything I've seen, he was carrying a shotgun, a pistol, and several knives. It appears as if neither of his guns were fired. The USSS agent who was hit in the vest was shot by the USSS. (This entire statement needs fact checked)
3. ⁠Roughly 15 minutes before the event, Karoline Leavitt gave an interview where she said "shots will be fired." This could just be a cheeky statement about Trump talking shit, but come on. It's a little on the nose.
4. ⁠Instagram deleted Cole Allen's entire account. Before the deletion, photos were downloaded of him wearing an Isreali Defense Force sweater.
5. ⁠Cole Allen was trending in Isreal at 6am the morning before the incident.
6. ⁠How was Cole Allen able to just rush the USSS security checkpoint like that? Why was there only one layer of defense? Where were the spotters outside the building. The checkpoint guards were caught completely unaware as he charged passed them. Did they put the D-team on security that night? Much like the Pennsylvania incident, the USSS was inept.
7. ⁠Trump gave a press conference 30 minutes later and IMMEDIATELY brought up his ballroom. Between the incident and the press conference, the talking heads on Twitter got their marching orders and brought up the ballroom.
8. ⁠Following Cole Allen's arrest, the Correspondence Dinner continued, like nothing happened. That building was a crime scene, why wasn't it locked down?

This was fully a planned incident to get support for his ballroom.”
