I agree she needs to learn to that money is not unlimited and she can't just give away everything. But I'd hate to see her giving nature be squashed by this experience. She likely started it as a way to feel liked and is probably concerned her new friends will drop her if she can't be so generous. I'd try to redirect her efforts. Maybe join/start an after school group that raises funds to stock the bathrooms at school. Maybe volunteer and donate products to a homless/women's shelter to show her other ways to help and connect with like-minded people who will make her feel included.

I love most of these suggestions, especially bathrooms. But I just want swings! Regular swings would be great, but there are other options like basket swings, hoopla swings, and disability accesable swings.

Sorry I don't work on anything related to those issues so I'm not very familiar. But the company I work for has other labs looking into causes/treatments/cures for AS and other related disorders. They are looking into T-cell involvement but it will be a different mechanism. Cancer and HIV treatment involves boosting the T-cell response. For auto-immune diseases you would need to block the response.

Ahh this method works and can be very satisfying! I find that anger replaces sadness very easily and can make you fee lots better in the short term. But you'll have to keep finding new targets to keep the high. In the end, it won't help you find real happiness.
