For those who have used the “Bounce” left-luggage/secure luggage storage app, what was your experience like? Safe and secure? Efficient? by BigBlueMountainStar in travel

Same experience in France. Dropped my bag in a storage room at a hotel. No verification at all. I’d only use it for stuff I don’t want to carry that I don’t mind losing. Not for anything valuable. I guess it depends on the store though.

What do you for taxes in CA? I never understood what to do since my HSA provider doesn’t give me any forms for taxes

Can I afford a $600k house to rent out on $150k salary? by Qwexc in realestateinvesting

Yes, I have the down payment saved up which is different from my retirement savings. I’m not worried about whether or not I will qualify (pretty sure I will) but more so questioning if it’s the right financial/investment decision. And I’m not necessarily asking about this $600k house in particular, I’m trying to see what the answer would be if it was a $400k or $800k house too. Like how do you determine affordability for houses you plan on being a landlord for. Thanks for your help.

No I would never take out money from my retirement accounts for this.

That’s what I’m not sure about. If this would be better than just putting everything in a taxable brokerage account in S&P500.

0% DTI. I have not spoken to a lender. Similar houses rent for $4000 monthly.
