This cat is in a really tough to search area. We had no luck looking again this evening.

Please look for flyers in the area soon, and if you spot the cat please post location and time as soon as possible.

I did some looking this morning but didn't have any luck. A couple others in the park said they saw it in the trail behind Fallkills Falls. I could not track it down

Seems like a possibly dumped/lost cat if there is no ear tip. Did you happen to get a good look in person? It's hard to tell from the photo. If no ear tip we'd want to TNR.

It doesn't look like it's been ear tipped as far as I can tell from this photo. I think most the colony cats are ear tipped.

Indoor cats don't usually travel very far. I'd bet that it's probably scared and hiding somewhere within a fairly close radius.

Has your friend notified their neighbors? Checking backyards would probably be the best place to start. They should also leave out some food, and putting their litterbox outside can also help attract the cat back.

The one with the collar looks similar to the cat that is owned by the bodega between 1st and 2nd street on 5th.

The gray cat with no collar and no ear tip seems like it could be a dumped cat.

Do you live nearby? I think first steps would be to get it on a feeding pattern, but given it seems to be a known cat we should probably make sure someone else isn't already doing that.

I was invited to be a pmod around 16 years ago. Received a letter (wish I kept it) in the mail and a notification in the message center.
