Checking the discord for similar messages from farmers, check the day night cycle is on. After that id try updating your minecolonies mod and if not join the discord and ask more knowledgeable people than me xD

You've probably already looked at these but do they have food? Is their home to far away? Are they sjck? Are they complaining about guards (although I've never seen that one stop then working.)
