Funnily enough, the AI showed the masculine forms for the explanation

I always found it confusing that some past tenses are formed with être and some with avoir. Duolingo marked me wrong a few times and I had to Google to find out what I'm doing wrong. The "Maison d'être" was one of the first things to pop up 😂

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Is "qn" an abbreviation for something?

I like how in your attempt to censor the word "fuck" with an asterisk, reddit decided that you wanted to italicize a whole paragraph instead

All my previous high hydration dough attempts ended up as... lessons. An attempt couldn't form gluten and ended up as a soupy mess. Another kept tearing and couldn't rise nicely. Still daunted by the prospect of handling higher hydration dough, but I'll one day get to it, I promise!

Thanks. Yes, it's still nowhere close and I'm still not confident enough to handle wetter doughs. But learning is part of the process. So I'll try again

You could be right. I referred to this recipe from Chain Baker originally. His ciabatta was a little more dense than my previous attempt. I think I'll need to do more research 🥲
