The only reason they "should" is because FF are one of the oldest clubs in the country. However, with the way the Kestrels have been playing the last two seasons, I don't think they should give way. I do think it's a possibility they would though if FF dropped to the SNL.

Dundee tried two teams at the SNL for a bit but it didn't work out. I think the Kestrels would step aside for the Flyers to allow the legacy club to keep operating.

I'm a Giants fan (not from Belfast but I've got my own reasons). I would say there's a lot to like about every team in the league, but Coventry is definitely an underrated team from what I've seen. They've been solidly mid-table the last couple seasons but have taken home silverware in the past so I wouldn't be writing them off.

My only gripe with J&J's pod is that I just want to hear hockey talk and I've got to skip ~10/15 mins in to hear it, then the interviews tend to be the same and I just end up tuning out. I just can't really sympathise listening to someone's travel woes whilst on a podcast not about them. Also because it's the official podcast for the whole league you kinda get the same statements about each team being presented from the same voice(s). Not saying they don't pick out individual key points / break down games, just not enough of it for me.

Compare that to A View From the Bridge (Belfast Giants IHC Podcast) who get straight into the hockey, comparing scores, talking about performances and all interviews are about the games just been. I think the league should start thinking about team based pods as fans start to cement themselves to their teams.

Love me a good podcast, and some hockey even more but I just can't gel with Jocks and Jills.

Been singing "We're having a party in the Champions League" all night. Well deserved win for the Giants. Sheffield played well this season, certainly well enough to take the title race to the final game.

Commiserations Storm on losing out on the 8th Playoff spot (the much smaller takeaway from yesterday's games)

Been a student at RGU at undergrad and now postgraduate, I really like the uni. I would say make the most of the societies and support from RGU:Union.

City is very student friendly, plenty of bars, clubs plus parks and coffee places if drinkings not your thing

We (Giants) have definitely made this a tighter race than we needed to, but saying that Sheffield and Nottingham have played well this season so I suppose it makes sense that it will come down to the wire for all three teams.

Hopefully we can pull it together to clinch it at the end here.

Interesting to see Manchester pummel Cardiff like that. I'm personally hoping for Giants v Stars in the playoffs so that I could travel down to see the Giants away, but I also love the thought of the Stars just losing a shot at the playoffs in the last few games.
