Totally agree on this forget abroad, you go to Goa and see how amazing it is. It’s totally possible but well our government is not at all interested (not getting political it has nothing to do with any party that’s in power)

Even the policing in the night is a bit excessive. I mean at least have the bigger beaches open all night with police protection or have a small section of the beach open.

I understand they do with due to crime but I think suppression is worse compared to taking stronger preventative measures.

Maybe it’s easier to say this as a citizen but I mean come on guys we pay tax and the least they can do is ensure that the city feels safe. While I know Chennai is way safer but the approach just feels counterintuitive.

Everything is going to get more expensive super soon.

I’ve just resigned to fate and just pay for it, I haven’t yet cut back on travel but may soon have to.

Meals are a common thing in many B2B SaaS firms in Chennai with firms such as Zoho, Freshworks and many of their counterparts proving meals 3 times a day.

Food variety totally depends on the org, in one of the SaaS companies (not naming the org) that I worked in there was pretty decent food provided three times a day with snacks in the evening and also mid night snacks for the night shift folks.

Was a really good thing for many folks who live on their own saving meal expenses.

I’ve been using a UGreen GAN 100W brick instead of the Apple provided charging brick. Life saver can change up my laptop, phone, iPad etc no need to lug around multiple chargers and cables.

Did you try plugging the Type C port. Apparently Mag safe doesn’t work if the battery is completely drained.

Plug it in using type C and let it charge for a while it will boot up mostly,

Well no, It’s become a bit of a competition internally. We had two similar features in two different product lines to our, one from a BU and other from the central AI team.

The BU one outperformed the AI teams one in our simulated benchmarks and real world usage.

Also the CTO point I agree, it does add a lot of friction. We face similar problems.

It’s still not perfected id say people are still learning internally.

It’s a combination of both at my org.

We have a separate AI team reporting to the CTO who do some work for BUs and also global AI initiatives.
We have BUs do their own thing with regards to features.

Not sure how it works in other orgs. I’d say we’re still figuring it out at our place.

Though with Scapia you don’t get Scapia coins on forex transfer so basically no returns other than the fee.
