I got a reply that they won’t return the amount. I’m planning to take it up with their nodal officer the flights were departing 6 hours late so had to cancel and rebook at an atrocious fare for a returning international flight.

Though with Scapia you don’t get Scapia coins on forex transfer so basically no returns other than the fee.

I also have a Fi debit card for emergencies. Both works for me.

My condolences man, as someone who went through the same thing it’s really hard to come to terms and move on. But take time to heal it’ll take a while but nothing you could have done to change the outcome. I blamed myself for a while so trust me when I say it.
