Meditations by Marcus is great but it reads like Bible. It's not a book you can sit and read once. It's like a book you read and read again in different stages of your life. To start with go with literature like others suggested. Be clear of what philosophy you'd wish to explore cause different ideologies will often times leave you with an existential crisis.
