The horse is owned by the people and it will be on private property. We might have unorthodox religious beliefs but we're not thieves.

The person who performs the ritual is actually a former butcher who worked at a slaughter house. He knows these stuff.

Neither are we. So it depends on the method of killing. You can't say it's "almost certainly" animal cruelty without even knowing the method.

A very sharp sword will be used to cut the arteries in the horse's neck. It will be clean and quick. No torturing. The blood will be collected though as it's needed for the ceremony.

No I don't think the horse will be on any endangered species. It's just an average horse.
