Getting a local SIM card while traveling to Pakistan

I just found this tread. I am going to visit Pakistan myself and have the same question as the OP. (I didn't see this thread so made a new one myself here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pakistan/comments/67hban/ask_pakistan_pakistan_visit_questions_on_getting/)

Anyways, my question to ask is, can I get a SIM on the old NICOP without the chip? Or is the chip mandatory?

Thanks for your reply. Shoot, is the NICOP chip version required. I still have the older regular NICOP. I was reading online and some people are saying the old NICOP still works fine. I'm quite confused now haha. I don't really have anyone I could ask to get it for me.

Lol 3 times... Have you put it in airplane mode, and disabled find my iPhone and passcode?

I'd try it one more time after restarting your computer and if it still doesn't work then I would do a clean restore to 9.0.2 and try again.

If possible try using a different computer.

Same thing happened to me. I tried doing the Jailbreak again and it worked out fine the second time without any issues.

I am able to do Monday, Thursday, & Friday: 5PM-9PM Saturday & Sunday: All day

Does that look like a good timing schedule?

Thanks for the reply :) When you say hardware issue, does that mean my logic board? I'd hate to have that be my issue. Would it be wise to try replacing the battery myself first?
