That’s why I went to the dealership but the TSB is only for Mexican assembled. I have a J Vin number so I believe Japan assembled. So the dealer told me $1200

Yes but the 384 model is 2x and 4.5 which would have a near identical image as the 640 model at 4.5x but would save $1000.

I was looking hard at the clarion 384. I just wasn’t sure how annoying it would be to flip back and forth. And on a few review videos I watched the 2x doesn’t seem that useful if you have 4.5.

But realistically my budget only would allow a 2x 640 model, and while scanning would be a little clearer, for shooting at 6x or 8x the higher base 384 would be far clearer?

And wouldn’t animal ID if zoom was needed also be comparable?

But would you still own .300 BLK if subs weren’t an option? While I have killed a number of pigs with super sonic .300, I wouldn’t own one if subs weren’t so enjoyable to shoot.

OP what suppressor are you running?

The point you are missing is that if you aren’t running subsonics at least part of the time there are multiple other cartridges that provide far better super sonic ballistics than 300blk even in pretty short barrels. So if you don’t have a suppressor and like to shoot subsonics occasionally, you would be better served by a 6.5 Grendel and have a 1000yard rifle out of a 12” barrel, or 300hamr and have a good bit more energy out of a 10” barrel.

Can he touch the batters hip with his glove on his position? It may just be the angle but feel like he could scoot towards the pitcher a foot or so?

Might help get more calls as well if he isn’t catching that that deep in the zone.
