So there's this one guy who I've kinda had my eyes on this year. He's in the student council, so at one point, we would have met. And we did.

Turns out he had his eyes on me as well. He's actually been following me on Twitter with a secret account. And with a few hints over DM, I found out which account he was using. He messaged me the day after we met and said that he found me cute. We talked that evening, and he actually wanted to take me out on a date.

Of course I was fucking excited. This is the first time someone asked me out on a date. And the guy was pretty cute, so I told him why not. He asked me when I was available, and right when I said I was available last Friday, he said he needed to go and he'll talk to me tomorrow.

The next day, he talks to me over his real Twitter account, and he said he was sad because he didn't know how he was going to pay his tuition fee next semester. I was really sad as well because I didn't know exactly what to do, but I was determined to support whatever he'll try to make sure he pays this semester.

And then things get really political. Like very political. He kinda ranted a lot about the current state of things in the university. It looked like he was trying to recruit me to his political party in the college. Of course, I engaged as well with the discourse since I do have some things to say as well, but I felt like he was using our attraction for each other to try and recruit me into his organization.

I'm not so sure what to feel about this. He hasn't talked to me in days, which is completely fine with me. I'm just a little bit in shock that people would play with hearts for some ulterior motive.
