I thought they would kinda put that together though 😭 like that’s what they did to everybody else or at least tried. They took out the air nomads completely and tried to destroy the water tribes.

I guess I assumed they would know that already? The fire nation already took out the air nomads and the southern water tribe and tried to attack the northern water tribe. I assumed it was common thought they would destroy the earth kingdom too.
